Welcome to base camp for the 7 Summits 2 Sea Level Challenge, a three year endurance challenge which is set to create a new world record for Noel Hanna, Dromara, Northern Ireland based adventure sports trainer and endurance athlete.

Seven summits of the world's highest peaks, followed by seven arduous and top-speed descents to Sea Level. Three years, seven continents, thousands of column inches in media coverage - and one goal in sight, a new entry in the Guinness Book of Records. Noel's passion for pushing the boundaries of endurance will reach fulfillment in Antarctica in December 2008.

You can chart Noel's progress through his blog on this website over the coming months. Meanwhile, check out the news on Noel's latest successful expedition - he summited Elbrus, Russia on August 1st and descended by foot, kayak and cycle to sea level in 4 days and 22 hours and 50 mins - almost half a day ahead of his schedule.
